ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide consistent practices within the pricing software that supports Hometown Grocers price image. Investigate and resolve inaccuracies; respond with clear and honest feedback.
- Communicate and collaborate with the Pricing Support Team to keep the pricing manual and sign program current.
- Hold department leads and vendors accountable for meeting pricing standards within your store.
- Work directly with department leads and Store Manager to ensure Standard Operating Plans are being executed.
- Complete verification process and review verification results on a weekly basis to determine where gaps may exist. Address any incorrect stocking issues with corresponding department manager. Communicate results to Pricing Support Team.
- Assist guests with finding items they are looking for while on the sales floor.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues when a guest is not satisfied.
- Contribute to overall cleanliness of the department by picking up, organizing, and cleaning work areas.
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences

- High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle situations.
- Basic knowledge in computer functions and Microsoft Suite products; including Outlook, Excel, and Word

WORK SCHEDULE
The Pricing Coordinator is a full-time hourly position. The work schedule will include daytime shifts; 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, occasional evenings/weekends, and Wednesdays starting at 5:00 AM.
